Starwars.com has posted the cover and blurb for Star Wars: Riptide, my sequel to Star Wars: Crosscurrent. I hope you like it (I do). And yes, that is Jaden on the cover.
When a ship full of Sith warriors arrived in Galactic Alliance space, the fight to destroy it accidentally uncovered a deadly menace: a long-hidden group of clones, secretly created as insidious weapons capable of wielding the Force and heedless of the differences between light side and dark side. Now the clones have escaped — and evidence suggests they are flawed by genetic disease and violent madness.
Jedi Knight Jaden Korr pursues the clones, hoping to heal them but prepared to destroy them. What he doesn’t know is that Sith agents are hot on his heels, determined not only to recover the clones for their Master but to capture Jaden for their own dark-side purposes. In a life-or-death battle, Jaden will confront a shocking reality that will rock him to his core and bring him face-to-face with the question of what makes a man… and a Jedi.

You’ve never let me down before, Paul, but neither cover nor blurb do much for me. I’ll pick it up on release because, as I said, you’ve never let me down before.
Well, except that one time you killed off the best character in Crosscurrent…
Guess that means you really have to knock this one out of the park, eh? 😉

Opinion is definitely mixed on the cover. I love the blurb, but then I’m hardly unbiased. 🙂 AS for knocking it out of the park with the story — well, I’m sure you’ll let me know. 🙂
I thought that Jaden lost three fingers on his right hand? and yet it looks like it’s his left hand that has lost the fingers?
I can’t wait for this. I loved Crosscurrent. The only downside is that it doesn’t seem like it’s going to be released as an e-book. 🙁
