I wanted to take a moment to post about my ebook short story collection, Ephemera.
I self-published this collection to keep available some fiction that had previously appeared in various print anthologies, most of which are now out of print. Too, I thought it would be an excellent introduction to the tone and style of my writing.
Well, the fact of the matter is that it’s selling beyond my expectations (which were low, I concede, so maybe beating them isn’t all that). It remains Number One on the Hotlist at Drivethruhorror.com (available as pdf), is selling well through Amazon(in Kindle format), and is also selling well through Smashwords (in all other ebook formats), primarily because Smashwords is distributing it to the Apple iBookstore.
I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who’ve purchased it. As I mention in the post’s title, it is selling well. And here’s the “but….”
It doesn’t have many reviews. So if you’ve read it, please consider posting a review of it online (at Amazon, or the iBookstore, or whatever suits you). These things help, especially with a self-published ebook of this sort. And I’d love to keep getting the word out.
And if you haven’t read the collection, well, I hope you’ll give it a look the next time you’re in the market for an ebook.
