As this NY Times article (and this announcement by WotC) makes clear, the next iteration of Dungeons and Dragons is under development. I’ve known about this for a while (but was sworn to secrecy under threat of thumbscrews) and have been privy to some of the discussions (in a mostly minor, incidental way). As I mentioned before, I was able to scratch an itch I’ve had for a long time by finally writing a story set in The World of Warhammer. In the process, I was able to work with Christian Dunn, which I’ve also wanted to do for a long while. Color me lucky.
