You’ve probably already seen this, but if you haven’t, you really should — the most recent cinematic trailer for The Old Republic MMORPG has been released and it’s, well, awesome.
It features Satele Shan early in her career (she later becomes Grandmaster of the Jedi Order), Darth Malgus, and their respective Masters. Good stuff.
And if Malgus intrigues you, there’s this book about him, written by some guy who I hear is pretty cool and not a half-bad wordsmith. Just sayin’.
Not only is it a trailer, it’s also the opening cinematic of the game! Now if they’d only announce a release date …

Played quite my share of MMOs and what the market needs is something new and fresh. I think the futuristic aspect SWTOR brings with the fast pace combat will turn a lot of heads. Going to keep an eye on this and Everquest Next.
